Big Cats
From the archives: original mani done early January 2015.
Uninspired?
Open up some of your favorite nail tech Instagrams, pick random base colors, do random doodles, and call it a day.
Can't say I wasn't satisfied with what came out! The linework on the index and pinky fingers is sketchy (haha), but I was pretty happy with the overall result. Unfortunately, with this type of "mani-block" product, the composition is fairly random/unbalanced. But, frankly, with how the tiger turned out, I wasn't too mad. ;) Add on some glittery Swarovski, and there's a mani.
Impact Mints. Because what's better for hand modeling than a lime green tin of melon-flavored mints from Hong Kong? (Those are some pretty good mints. They've vanished off my desk, though... No clue where they've gone.)
Polishes/materials used:
- Gap Mermaid - shimmery teal with weak duochrome
- Julep Hope - satin-finish white creme
- Essie Mint Candy Apple - pale aqua/mint creme
- Wet 'N Wild Black Creme
- 3mm Swarovski Black Diamond flatbacks
